After a scary looking injury whilst competing in a tag-team match on December 27th (December 28th if you live in the UK) at #WWEUniondale it has been reported that Paige is now ok, and the injury is not as severe as what it was first feared to be.
The match was between her group Absolution (Paige, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville) and a team of Sasha Banks, Bayley and Mickie James. A match we also got to see on RAW this past week.
This was moments after the injury Paige suffered. You can see the referee make the ‘X’ sign which tells officials backstage that a Superstar is legitimately injured.
As you can see in the video, it looked as though Paige was unable to stand up, however you can see towards the end that she was able to walk out of the arena, rather than having to go on a stretcher.
Dave Meltzer confirmed later that evening, that: “Paige is okay.”
Paige deserves some good luck, after being ruled out for just over a year (16 months), with a severe neck injury.
Paige has been pulled from upcoming live events, and hopefully that is just a precaution, rather than it being something more severe.
Hopefully we get to see a healthy Paige on Monday Night for #RAW
